Young Parents Service - Responsible Adult


  • Provide holistic low-level support both face to face and on the phone to YP.
  • Keep good records of any support given
  • Communicate with supported housing officers to give them an update of anything that may have happened.
  • Open to change and embraces improvement and is active in the development of the service.
  • Establish and maintain trusting relationships with residents
  • Proactively contribute and support the team leader to ensure the service and the building are in line with our health and safety compliance framework
  • Be responsible for attending and completing mandatory training and other training as required, with ongoing commitment to continued professional development.
  • Safeguard the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults in line with organisational safeguarding policies and local procedures

This is a live in position - the successful candidate will be given a bedsit which is located within the building

  • Knowledge of safeguarding guidelines.
  • Experience of working in a support role either paid or voluntary.
  • Open to change and embraces improvement and development of services.
  • Understand the causes of homelessness and social exclusion for vulnerable residents.
  • Good level of IT literacy.
  • Experience of carrying out own administrative duties
  • 25 days annual holiday rising to 30 days.
