CEO Paul Smith Celebrates 1 Year at Elim

1st October 2021 marks one year since our CEO, Paul Smith, joined Elim! Though it's been a difficult year for everyone in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Elim has continued to grow and develop since Paul took the reins.

Speaking about his Elim anniversary, Paul said: “Elim is a great organisation with fantastic people and I’ve fully enjoyed my first year despite the ongoing lockdowns.

My focus continues to be on improving our services, being an excellent employer and achieving ethically-driven growth.”

This year, Paul has seen the launch of the Elim CARES fund to help residents reach their ambitions, and a brand new customer oversight group to help residents have a say in decision-making that affects them.

Alongside these initiatives, Paul has taken a range of new properties under Elim's wing. Most recently, this included 12 new homes: 6 shared ownership properties in South Bristol and 6 rented flats in Weston-Super-Mare. With 14 more South Gloucestershire properties in the pipeline, Elim continues to expand and provide support to vulnerable members of the community.
