Elim Appoints New Head of Asset Management

Elim Housing is pleased to announce it has appointed Phil Bowley as new Head of Asset Management.

Phil, who took up the position at the end of May, brings with him 21 years of experience in asset management within the social housing sector, ensuring we deliver the Group’s investment, asset management and maintenance strategies and programmes. Phil has previously held senior roles at GreenSquare and GreenSquareAccord bringing with him a wealth of industry experience.

Phil Bowley said: “I am excited to be joining Elim at this time, where I have been given the opportunity to lead and develop the Group’s approach to strategic asset management.

Ensuring we make the right investment decisions with our existing homes is critical to ensure that our residents continue to have a safe, value for money home to live in, and I look forward to working with the team to deliver on this aim.”

Commenting on his appointment, Group Chief Executive Paul Smith said: “I am delighted that Phil will be taking on the role of Head of Asset Management. Phil will be an excellent leader in an already strong team here at Elim and will help steer the organisation as it continues to evolve.

Phil will play a key role in optimising the use of the Groups resources in the delivery of the asset management and maintenance plans, contributing to the corporate achievement of the business plan.”

Elim Housing owns and manages more than 800 homes across South West England, Birmingham area and Wales and are proud to be one of UK's largest providers of traveller sites.

2023 signals a hugely exciting time in Elim’s history as it celebrates it’s 60th anniversary.

Elim will be celebrating throughout the year sharing past and present customers stories to reflect on how it’s services can serve as a platform for growth and Colleagues and Board members will be volunteering in the local community, making sure Elim’s impact is felt in the areas it serves. Elim will also undertake a green project themed around urban orchards at it’s larger support schemes and we look forward to sharing the finished project with our customers, colleagues and stakeholders later in the Summer.
