Elim creates new roles to deliver ‘customer first’ services

We are pleased to announce two new appointments, Nick Jermyn as the new Head of Housing for Elim’s general needs provision and Geoff Binns as Head of Supported Housing.

The appointments come after a review of Elim’s leadership structure, following the resignation of Director of Housing Services, Dave Peregrine in December 2024 after 13 years in post. Replacing this role are the two newly created Heads of Service posts, in a move which aims to ensure our leadership team is as effective as possible for Elim and all our customers.

Having joined Elim’s housing services team as Senior Housing Manager in July 2024, Nick brings with him over 25 years’ experience of working in social housing, including the management of a variety of tenures and resident led initiatives.

On the appointment, Nick said: “I have always been passionate about helping to provide residents with a safe and secure home, so it was important to me that my next role would allow me to continue to deliver services in line with these values. The creation of the Head of Housing role reflects the value we place in our general needs services and helps us to support colleagues and grow in terms of size, quality and best practice.”

Formally Head of Homelessness and Rehousing at Stockport Homes Group, Geoff joins us with over 20 years’ significant leadership experience in the development and delivery of housing, homelessness and support services.

On his appointment, Geoff said: “I’m looking forward to supporting Elim continue to put customers at the centre of all its services and seeking to meet the challenges faced by so many people in finding a suitable and affordable home with the support they need.”

The new roles will play a crucial part in supporting Elim in the delivery of high-quality housing and neighbourhood management services to our customers, delivering on our vision, to meet housing need and deliver homes that change people’s lives.
