Neurodiversity Celebration Week 2025

At Elim, we know that an inclusive and supportive workplace will equip colleagues to serve our diverse customer base, which is why we’re proud to support Neurodiversity Celebration Week.

#NCW aims to increase understanding and acceptance, provide education, and celebrate the talents of neurodiverse minds, including Dyslexia, DCD (Dyspraxia), Dyscalculia, Autism and ADHD. It’s also an opportunity for us to review what we, as an organisation, can do better.

As part of our ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion, we're implementing initiatives to ensure our recruitment process is more accessible for candidates.

This Neurodiversity Celebration Week, we are committing to:

• Continuing to challenge unconscious bias through further training for all colleagues and hiring managers, making sure our decision-making processes continue to be fair.
• Working with Elim’s network group for neurodivergent colleagues which aims to raise awareness, promote and maximise the take-up of internal and external initiatives and career development opportunities to support the professional development of current and prospective neurodiverse colleagues.
• Ensuring our job descriptions use inclusive language and remove any unnecessary barriers.
• Supporting neurodiverse colleagues with work tools that will help them to do their jobs.
