Services for Families

Bristol Homeless Families

Our Bristol Homeless Families service offers 26 units of accommodation for homeless mothers, fathers or couples with a young child. Our accommodation is split across two sites in the north and south of Bristol where residents will receive housing-related support to help them move into and thrive in more secure, longer term accommodation. All residents will be allocated a Support Worker who will develop a personalised support plan with them.

The service is for homeless households and those in housing need who also have additional support needs that make it hard for them to manage their housing. Children of the households must be below 5 years old at the point of referral.

Access to the service is managed by Bristol City Council. You can speak to our team about the referral process by calling us on 01454 532427.

Gloucester Young Parents Support

The Gloucester Young Parents Support service is primarily for parents aged 16 – 25. Residents will be allocated a Support Worker and develop a personal support plan. Residents are expected to stay for up to 12 months, but some stay for a shorter period depending on their circumstances.

Referrals to the Gloucester Young Parents service are made by Gloucestershire County Council. Gloucestershire County Council’s Housing Advice Team can be contacted on 01452 396396.

Phoenix Place

Phoenix Place is located in Central Bristol and houses single women aged 22+ and single mothers aged 18+.  It provides support to 55 residents with specific units for single women or mothers with a child aged up to 18 months old at referral.

The service consists of shared accommodation, and four self-contained flats (2 for single women and 2 for mothers).                                                                                                                                      We aim to move residents on into their own accommodation within 9 -12 months. We are currently not able to offer wheelchair accessible accommodation.

Referrals to Phoenix Place are made via the Bristol City Council Housing Support Register. If you are not on this register, you can contact Bristol City Council’s Homelessness Team on 0117 3526800.
