Award Success for Elim’s Elizabeth Close Scheme

Elizabeth Close has been named the Inside Housing Best Suburban/ Rural Supported Housing Scheme at the Inside Housing Development Awards.

The award recognises the work of everyone involved in bringing the scheme forward. This includes our partners at NHS England, Homes England, South Gloucestershire Council, Bristol City Council, North Somerset Council and NOMA Architects. 

Elizabeth Close provides 6 self contained homes designed to support people with learning disabilities or autism and complex care needs to live in their own home, who may currently be in hospital or be at risk of hospital admission.

The scheme offers safe and modern accommodation with access to on site support and a focus on helping residents build confidence and stability. The homes were created with input from partner organisations and reflect Elim’s aim to deliver high quality specialist housing that meets local need.
